Nippers (5-14 Years)

Encourage children to participate in surf orientated activities within the Nippers Program, with the objective of introducing them to the Surf Life Saving movementProvide a safe, healthy, active, learning environment for our childrenDevelop a strong local community program and participation of Mona Vale Surf Life Saving Club

On behalf of the Committee & Age Managers, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new members and their families as well as our existing members and families. We trust everyone had an enjoyable off-season and is ready to commence the Nipper Season.

For 2009-10 we have over 300 children registered. Each Sunday we start at 9am by gathering on the beach, in front of the clubhouse, lining up behind a designated age group banner. There will be a few announcements and then each age group will go and do their designated activities. Following nipper activities is a bbq and refreshments.

This Season we have many fun activities planned, not only for the nippers, but the whole family to enjoy.

All family members are encouraged to actively participate and assist the Age Managers both on the beach and in the water in the running of activities. As some age groups have very large numbers of children, please feel free to introduce yourself to the Age Managers’ as they will be very grateful for any assistance.
